Be it with your diet,
Be it with your health,
Be it with your life in general,
We always tend to shift our
focus towards the worst case scenario,
We get down on ourselves,
We feel bad about our situation,
We beat our selves up,
we call ourselves names,
And we get stuck there.
And this creates a closed loop of despair,
desperation and discouragement.
There is no way out, there is
nothing to experience from that
state other than those three things!
That is not a state in which you can begin
to problem solve!
And the longer you stay in that state the
worse you feel!
Most people just wait until it passes,
but you can actually get yourself
out of them fairly quickly.
Just think of how miserable we get
during winter months and as soon as
we board the plane to go down south
our entire mood, demeanor and state changes!
That to me is cool, but you don’t have
to board a plane to do this

may put me in a much different state
than someone that enjoys flying 😉
In order to get yourself out of those
states you must first understand how you

1. what you’re focusing on &
2. how you’re using (or not using)

you can shift the energy (state) within it!
STEP 1 – Move and Use your body, get
physical and get active
Go for a run, go for a walk, those are easy things to do
and will get you feeling better right away!
Just commit to doing it no matter how crappy or tired
you may be feeling – get out there and get it done!
STEP 2 – CHANGE YOUR FOCUS
You’ve probably heard these sayings:
‘What you focus on expands’
‘Where your attention goes – energy flows’
Change what you focus on,
You may think that it’s easier said than done,
but this couldn’t be further from the truth.
It’s easy to change and shift your focus, as long
as you’re willing to do so!
Instead of going down the same dark hole,
every time something doesn’t
go your way, reverse your thinking
process and stop focusing
on everything that’s wrong, bad or negative.
Learn to look for the good in the bad.
Instead of focusing on your car breaking down
and you have to now walk, think to yourself
how great of a chance it is for you to
be outside, get some fresh air and get moving 😉
That’s just one example,
But learn to turn your negative and self-limiting
thoughts around and you will begin
to feel better!
Dont’ wait to feel better, take charge, interrupt
the pattern and create the state that you
prefer to be in, don’t get stuck in feeling bad!
