Last Friday I got an e-mail from one of our 6am campers.
” Hey Ruslan, I thought I would share my good news. I’ve made my goal weight of 128 today! Down 25lbs thank you! Couldn’t have done it without you or TFC!”
In case you’re wondering, I don’t keep track of your weight, I don’t put that sort of pressure on our girls!
So yes, Sheila was skeptical, uncertain, intimidated at first and essentially was on the verge of giving up (like most women that start our program).
She’s tried many programs, boot camps, diets, etc. and nothing worked.
That is until she gave TFC a try and here we are.
Instead of me telling you about her experience, I sent her a few questions and she tells you exactly how she stopped struggling and started losing (winning) at weight loss!
What was it like for you before you began this process,
how did you feel about yourself, about your body, what bothered you the most?
I was exercising regularly and not seeing the results I wanted. I was at my heaviest weight and felt uncomfortable in all my clothes. What bothered me the most about my body was the weight I had gain on my stomach and back.
Now that you’ve reached your goal, how do you feel?
What’s changed over the last five months?
I feel amazing! I always thought that it was just my body type but now that I have reached my goal I know that I can transform my body into the shape I want with a little work! I am a happier person and more confident in managing my team at work.
How much have you lost and in how long?
I lost a total of 25lbs in about five months.
What made you embrace this process vs. trying to lose weight fast, most women want to lose 25lbs in 4 weeks?
Losing my first 10lbs on the MRM (metabolic reset method) and seeing those results quickly was very motivating. I then accepted the process as a lifestyle change and took it slowly to maintain long term weight loss.
What was the deciding moment for you to finally take action?
I had a feeling a marriage proposal was coming and if there was any chance of me getting married next year that I needed to make a change so I could feel confident on my day and like the way I looked in my photos.
What concerns or fears did you have prior to starting with TFC?
That the boot camp would be to physically demanding and that I was not in good enough shape to enjoy it.
Once you showed up for your first sessions did you perception change?
I found the workouts very comfortable! And the flexibility in nutrition was what I needed to sustain a plan that helped me lose weight consistently.
What do you enjoy most about TFC?
The support from Ruslan and the girls. Also how much more productive my day is after my 6am workout!
What do you think contributed to your success the most?
The desire to change my body. I just need help executing my plan.
What’s helped you be so consisted over these last few months?
Continually tracking my food and weighing myself regularly to be in control of my progress.
What would you recommend to anyone new starting our program, that may be feeling lost and inpatient? What are you top three golden nuggets?
Follow the program, it works and it is for everyone. It is not hard or restrictive. You are able to include foods you love just in a healthier way.
1. Working out in the morning. Then it is done and I don’t have to feel guilty about not wanting to go to the gym after work.
2. Tracking my food so that I am aware of what I am eating.
3. Eat protein! I now crave it at every meal.
