I know that many people are in shock and are upset with the current
Presidential election situation…
It does feel surreal, even to us Canadians.
I’m not here to talk politics, I am here to help you solve a problem that is
in your life and to make sure you don’t Trump your weight loss goals!
It’s clear that the majority of us are not in favor of Mr. Trump and I think that
one of many reasons why we’re all so upset by the situation is that we
fear and expect the worst.
Yes, he’s crazy and the situation is sour, but nothing terrible has actually happened.
Yet our projection into the future makes the situation seem much worst than it is.
And this is exactly how we TRUMP our very own weight loss goals and sabotage
our selves in the process.
Although the situation may not be great, don’t make it out worse than it is.
But that is exactly what we do.
We look to the future and we expect the worse, we come up with all the
reasons why it won’t work, why it’s too hard, why it’s impossible.
We try to predict what will happen and we always think of the worst.
*and we do this with most thing, not just weight loss.
As a result we end up feeling terrible about our situation and we do nothing
about it, we get consumed by FEAR!
FEAR – false evidence appearing real
Well, unlike the Trump situation, or just like it, here is what you can do to move
forward:
Do not project into the future, for all you know it may be better than you think?
Deal with problems as they come rather than creating FEAR (false evidence appearing real)
witch stunts your progress.
Don’t make your situation seem worse than it actually is.
You can and will overcome your own obstacles if you’re willing to apply some of what I shared
with you and I’m sure that the US and the rest of the world will figure things out as we
go – button line is, none of us know how things will turn out so let’s stay focused on the positive.
Alec Baldwin signed a 2 year deal with SNL portraying Trump 😉 so there is some good in this situation.
